Jett Lawrence is the 2024 450 SuperMotocross World Champion!
Jett, his brother Hunter Lawrence, and Chase Sexton all entered Saturday night’s event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with a realistic shot at the title. However, things fell apart for Sexton when Justin Barcia landed on him on Lap 1 of Moto 1. This meant the title fight was between the two brothers. Jett won both Motos while Hunter placed third and then second, giving the younger Lawrence brother the title.
In 250, Haiden Deegan also went back-to-back, winning the 2023 and 2024 250 SMX World Championship titles. He did it by winning five of the six Motos in the SMX Playoffs and Final, losing out only to Pierce Brown in Moto 2 at Las Vegas, in which Deegan finished second to clinch the title.
