The 2023 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations will take place this weekend in France. It will be the 76th running of the historic event.
Who:
39 nations are on the entry list for the 2023 Motocross of Nations, with three riders for each nation. Among the notable entries for this year are:
Team USA: Aaron Plessinger, RJ Hampshire, Christian Craig
Team France: Romain Febvre, Tom Vialle, Maxime Renaux
Team Australia: Jett Lawrence, Hunter Lawrence, Dean Ferris
Team Germany: Ken Roczen, Simon Laegenfelder, Tom Koch
What:
The Motocross of Nations pits country against country rather than rider against rider. There will be three motos, with each rider competing twice. This will give each country six race results, with each country’s worst score getting dropped. In 2022, Team USA won its first Motocross of Nations title since 2011.
When:
Friday, October 6 – Sunday, October 8. Qualifying races will take place on Saturday, with the races taking place on Sunday, starting at 7 a.m. ET.
Where:
The races will take place in Ernee, France.
